Wingfoil · Leashes & footstraps

Wing foil leash. Rethought.

Wing, board, feet: three connections that decide your session. We rebuilt each one: metal-free, Dyneema®, the Wing Leash at only 45 g.

[02]Why we built it

Wingfoil is new. Its leashes were not.

Most wingfoil leashes are adapted from older designs. We looked at what goes wrong on the water.

Wing Leash with EasyConnector on a harness

Our answer

Every connection engineered for foiling.

We took the materials and the metal-free swivel from our Future Leash and rebuilt each connection of the wingfoil set-up.

  • Dyneema® woven directly around the stretch core: 45 g, stays light when wet
  • SoftSwivel: metal-free, against twisting, patent pending
  • SoftLoop: straight through the board plug, no load on velcro
  • Footstrap with patented auto-release, inspired by ski bindings
How we built it

[03]When it counts

Lose the wing, lose your ride home.

Out on the water, your wing and your board are your way back. After a fall, the wind does not wait.

Each of these hangs on a single connection. If one fails, you are swimming, and a loose board with a foil is a risk for everyone around.

  3. EasyConnector
  4. Harness
  5. Board Leash
  6. Your board

That's why we rebuilt every link, so you can trust it when it matters.

A leash is not a rescue device and does not replace swimming ability, knowledge of the sea and currents, or common sense.

What connects to what?

Start with what you want to secure. Most riders combine all three.

What connects to what
Part Connects LengthWeight
Wing Leash Wing → harness or waist belt 140 cm (220 cm stretched)45 g
Foil Board Leash Board → harness or belt 200 cm (300 cm stretched)80 g
EasyConnector Leash → harness –3 g
Safety Footstrap Feet → board (one-screw-per-side mounts) ––
  • Wing Leash: enough stretch to flip even large wings with ease.
  • Board leash on the belt or harness keeps the cord away from your feet and the foil.
  • Footstraps fit boards with one-screw-per-side mounts. Mounting screws and plates are not included.
  • Jumps or power freestyle? Use lock mode, then the strap works like a standard strap.

[06]Wingfoil questions

Good to know.

Which leash do I need for wingfoiling?

Usually two: a Wing Leash from the wing to your harness or waist belt, and a Foil Board Leash from the board to your belt or harness.

Where do I attach the wing leash?

To your harness or waist belt. The EasyConnector links it quickly and opens again easily, even after heavy loads.

Is the footstrap made for wingfoiling?

Yes. It fits all standard boards with one-screw-per-side footstrap mounts, including wingfoil boards. Mounting screws and plates are not included.

Is a leash a life-saving device?

No. A leash is not a rescue device and does not replace swimming ability, knowledge of the sea and currents, or common sense.
